Two teenagers were struck by a train in Bengal while taking a selfie there.

The event happened close to the Mahishrekha Bridge, which connects the railway stations of Kulgachia and Bagnan.

In the Howrah region of West Bengal, two adolescents were killed by a local train while taking a picture on the rails.

An official with the Government Railway Police (GRP) reported that the event happened on Monday night close to the Mahishrekha bridge between the Kulgachia and Bagnan railway stations.

According to him, the fatalities have been identified as Sharif Ali Mullick, 18, and Shariful Mullick, 14, both of Sattar Mullick Para in the Bagnan region.

After a post-mortem examination, the bodies were found and given to the children’s parents, he continued.
